[toggle title=”My Mission” open=”yes”]I have been in the religion business for a long time. I have talked “religion” with members of all the world’s great religions. The vast majority of those I have talked to have the same frame of reference, Christians included. For almost all of us the frame of reference is “good behavior.” My mission is to help struggling Christians discover the wonder and joy of living their faith as a relationship with their God, first and foremost. The fact that many of you who just read this are asking yourself the question, “what is he driving at?” suggests you probably need to hear more. [/toggle]
[toggle title=”My Message”]It is possible to be on a first name basis with the Creator of the Universe. Many of the Christians I know have more than enough knowledge about God to reach the conclusion that they “know” Him. The problem is that knowledge about God does not equal knowledge of God. For many of us our experience of God lags far behind our knowledge about God. This results in a merely theoretical understanding of our faith. My desire is to see people move from a largely intellectual understanding of God to a life filled with the experience of a genuine relationship with God. Anything less just doesn’t measure up to the God placed longings of our hearts. Anything less just doesn’t satisfy.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”My Passion”]Seeing the joy on someone’s face when they experience the love of God, not as an idea, but as an experience. For many of us our experience of God lags far behind our knowledge about God. This results in a merely theoretical understanding of our faith.
